Early November 2005, my good friend Ernest Resendes (Top left photo on left) contacted me with an amazing opportunity. He had two spots to be extras in the new Rocky Balboa film. The filming was taking place in Las Vegas. The only problem was I just started a new job and I wasn't sure I could get the time off. After working things out with my new boss, Ernie and I were on our way to Vegas. We were ecstatic that we were on our way to Vegas to work on a Sylvester Stallone film. Even more amazing than that, we appear in the film for about ten seconds in the background of the fight in round 2.

A year after the Vegas trip my buddy Ernie did it again. He got us two passes to a private screening in Boston, MA of Rocky Balboa. The most unbelievable part of this story is after the screening Ernie and I got to meet and talk with Sylvester Stallone. Most times I can't even put it into words what this meant to me. My friends and family know how hard I work to pursue my dreams. After shaking Sly's hand now more than ever I believe anything is possible.
